Why use the OmniHolder-Mini

The OmniHolder-Mini eliminates potential medical complications from mispositioning pressure
transducers leading to significant errors in the measurement of invasive pressures resulting in
incorrect therapeutic decisions and increased morbidity and mortality. By securing the MINI at
the correct site of the ICU bedrail, the pressure transducers are always calibrated at heart level,
regardless of the bed position.

The OmniHolder-Mini contributes to infection control by eliminating the traditional “custom-made
roll towels” that hold the transducers with tape and which often get soiled by bodily fluids. By
eliminating the “roll towels,” there are fewer objects and materials on the bed touching the
patient. It opens bed space for more clarity in patient care in critical moments.

The OmniHolder-Mini provides ergonomics and order by having all the pressure lines secure in
grommets and all infusions organized on the lateral manifold pockets for better visualization of

the IV lines. This feature contributes to patient safety by eliminating potential errors of injecting
fluids or drugs in the wrong line.
